Having shared the Rosh Hashanah celebration in the synagogue, many of us met at the beach for the beautiful experience of tashlich. Th seagulls obviously were on the Jewish calendar as well and knew that we would be tossing bread into the ocean and showed up as a hungry flock.

Hello Cantor Ron,
Tim and I just got home from seeing you in the movie at the Directors Guild in Hollywood, really big scrreen!! I really didn't care about any of it, just your part!! And you were wonderful..I was kvelling at your voice as always and wanted to turn to the lady next to me to tell her ," Thats' our spiritual leader!" But I hesitated to do so as we felt she had some type of stomach situaiton and I really didn't want to get too close...but I kvelled privatly.Hope you are chuckling at that part! Tim and I have been coming to VOS for 23 years! You have been the best addition to VOS.. my best to you and yours Eilene Bright
